Summary of the April 9, 2017 Dhamma talk is the following:
It is wise to celebrate a New Year with meritorious deeds.
Once we have mind and matter (Narma & Rupa) as known as five Khan-Dar (bodies), we have heavy burden on us. Only those mind and matter cease to exist, we are free from old age, sickness and death.
However, before the mind and matter completely cease to exist, the meritorious deeds can make our journey easy within the cycle of rebirth until we reach Nirvana (Nibbana).
