Vesak Day (Buddha Day) celebration

We will celebrate the Vesak Day (Buddha Day) on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at our temple. It is a very important day for all Buddhists around the world because it is the day when the Buddha-to-be was born, the day when the Buddha attained the Buddhahood and the day when the Buddha passed away from the Circle of Rebirth (reached Nibbana).

Daw San Thawda Kyaing and family will graciously and generously donate lunch to all attendees of the celebration.

Please kindly participate in promoting and propagating Buddha Sasana by allowing us to take and post pictures and/or video of attendees and the Dhamma activities at the temple including the practice of Vipassana Meditation, on the temple’s web-site. If you object to be photographed and videotaped, please kindly consult with the Venerable U Sanda.
